Come and discover the beauty of Croatia with us! Join us for a weekend getaway from Rome to Split, Croatia. Enjoy the sun, explore the beautiful Dalmatian Coast, and take part in thrilling adventures. You’ll raft down the emerald-green Cetina River, wander through the marble ruins of Diocletian’s Palace, and sail the Dalmatian Coast to discover the beautiful beaches at the Blue Lagoon. On the way back, we stop to visit the magnificent waterfalls of Krka National Park. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
The trip departs Rome Thursday evening, you’ll meet your trip leader 30 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Croatia is by private coach. We make one 45 minute stop and drive overnight. Upon arrival to Split Friday morning, we will check into our accommodation.
You have all day to explore Split and its surrounding areas. We have optional adventure activities on Friday that you’re able to sign-up for (additional cost): a river rafting trip on the Cetina River or a zip-lining activity through the lush valleys near Omiš.
If you choose not to join any of the outdoor adventures, you can spend your day laying out on one of Split’s beaches, go on a walking tour of the Split city center, visit Diocletian’s Palace, rent a bike and ride up Marjan Hill or take a day trip to local surrounding towns, like Omiš.
In the evening head out on the optional pub crawl (additional cost) to experience the best of Split’s bustling nightlife. Alternatively, the night is free to explore Split’s or stroll along the Riva waterfront.
Saturday is all about the sea! Join us for an island cruise (additional cost) as we sail to the magical Blue Lagoon and explore the islands and beaches of the Aidriatic.
Saturday night your Trip Leader can provide you with recommendations for dinner or a night out on the town.
Sunday morning we will depart Split for Krka National Park (entrance included.) There you will have a few hours to visit and explore some of the park’s incredible waterfalls, most notably the Skradinski Buk. We will depart Krka in the early afternoon and will make one stop en-route for dinner before arriving back to Rome.
Split Party Boat: Prepare yourself for an unforgettable voyage aboard Split’s premier boat party experience. Spend six hours immersed in endless excitement amidst the breathtaking Adriatic Sea, where the pulsating rhythms of both local and international DJs will have you dancing alongside up to 180 fellow party enthusiasts.

River Rafting the Cetina River: Experience an adventurous ride down Croatia’s natural beauty, the Cetina River. Duck through lush overgrown trees expanding over the river and find yourself in large scenic expanses as you rush down the Cetina. When we’re all finished and off the river, a traditional Croatian late lunch will be included featuring various entree options alongside local Croatian bread and a traditional dessert.
