A Guide to Spring/Summer Music Festivals in Europe

Music festivals are a one of a kind experience; it brings people from all over the world together for a weekend to enjoy some great music, you can’t beat it.  Here a couple of the top ones to make some once-in-a-lifetime memories with some good friends:

Abroadfest – Barcelona – March 5th-7th

Abroadfest is back for it’s 2nd year to beautiful Barcelona as Europe’s primary music festival for study abroad students.  Last years lineup included Cedric Gervais, Showtek, Laidback Luke and more.  This year’s lineup has not yet been released, but it is expected to have similar big names.  Tickets are sold out on the website, but plenty of students are selling online and are usually around 200 euros.  Check out the teaser below to get excited for this years festival.

A State of Trance Tour – Armin Van Buuren – Amsterdam, Netherlands – Feb. 21st

International electronic superstar Armin Van Buuren is heading back to his home country for his traveling festival “A State of Trance Tour” to play his biggest hits.  Tickets are 54.50 euros for the show.  Take a look at the video below for a preview of some of his biggest hits that you’ll be partying to all throughout the night.

Tomorrowland – Boom, Belgium – July 24th to July 26th

Tomorrowland is one of, if not the biggest music festival in the world for electronic music.  Over 400,000 people attended last year and this year will be just as big with headliners of Avicii, Alesso, Carl Cox, David Guetta, and more.  Tickets are 262.50 euros plus camping/hotel fees.  Take a look below at last year’s after party and how crazy it is

Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts – Glastonbury, England – June 24- June 28th

Glastonbury is one of the biggest music festivals in all the world, taking place in a small town of Glastonbury, right outside Somerset, England.  Some of the biggest international superstars took the stage last year with the likes of Arcade Fire, Metallica, Kasabian, The Black Keys and more leading the way.  This years lineup will be released in the upcoming weeks and is sure to include other big names.  Tickets are 225 euros for the 4 day festival and sure to be one you don’t want to miss.  http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27jHFBGGie0#t=93
