Bačvice is the perfect beach to visit if you want a taste of local life in Split! In the summer it fills up with locals and tourists alike looking to enjoy the sunshine and blue waters. Watch out for locals playing picigin, a game that looks like water volleyball and is native to this part of Croatia.

4. Monterosso Beach – Cinque Terre, Italy

After exploring the other four towns of the beautiful Cinque Terre national park, reward yourself with a dip in the ocean and a fresh homemade margarita. Monterosso is one of Italy’s most famous beaches, and you can reach it by train or hike. (We suggest doing the hike, as it is absolutely breathtaking)

5. Cala Grande Beach, Capri, Italy

6. Krka National Waterfalls, Croatia

Although this may not be a beach, it’s still a top spot to catch some rays and enjoy being outside. Krka National Waterfalls is a place unlike any other with clear refreshing water that pours from a series of 7 waterfalls. Swim around and enjoy the beauty and nature the national park has to offer.
