Let’s go back to the tape to review last week

Did you ride camels in Africa this past weekend? If you were part of the Bus2alps first Morocco trip of the season, then the answer is YES! A group of students from all over Europe flew into Marrakech to spend a weekend in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, going canyoning, bargaining in the Souks markets, watching snake charmers dodge venom, and immersing themselves in a completely new and different culture. Other students spent a royal weekend in London, chilled slope-side in Interlaken, sang in the hills of Vienna & Salzburg, and dressed up wild for Stiges Carnival.
Fat Tuesday was hysterical in Barcelona as 150 students dressed up as butterflies and princesses to hit up round 2 of Stiges Carnival with the Bus2alps crew. Who doesn’t love dressing up and getting weird at carnivals? Over in Florence, another free coffee day at Mama’s Bakery courtesy of the Bus2alps Flo’ crew left lots of students caffeinated for another Manic Monday. Tuesday night, there was yet another huge family-style dinner at il Gatto e la Volpe where Julia P. won a free trip to Siena and San Gimignano & Tommy H. won a free month’s membership to their favorite gym, Swan.

In Rome, another successful aperitivo was held at Friend’s Cafe in Piazza Trilussa where there was amazing food, beautiful cocktails, and a special vintage store set-up in the cafe for everyone to get some shopping in. The Bus2alps Rome crew also threw a big family-style dinner at Tony’s restaurant in Trastevere where Zach L. won a free trip to the French Riviera & lots of students from all over the Eternal City came together to meet eachother and leave full and happy. We’re all looking forward to Spring Breaks starting up next week! March is upon us-Let the madness begin!
